FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most.

Is the lightshow free?

Yes. The show and song requests are both free.

How do I request a song?

Tap Request a Song, search for a title or an artist, pick the song and tap Request. You'll see your place in line and an estimated wait.

Will my song definitely play?

We try to play as many requests as we can, but we can't promise every song. The queue, the time of night and the playlist the show is running all play a part.

Why is my favorite song not on the list?

The show plays songs from our Christmas library of about 3,000 songs. If your favorite is missing, tell us on the Contact page and we'll try to add it.

How many songs can I request?

There's a small limit per visitor so everyone gets a turn. If you hit it, try again a little later.

When do requests open?

Song requests open December 1, 2026.

Can I watch from my car?

Yes. Please pull over safely, keep the road and driveways clear, and follow the Good Neighbor Guide.

What happens in bad weather?

If wind, ice or heavy rain makes it unsafe, the show may pause. We'll post it on the Weather page and in the banner at the top of the site.
